Gorgeous antique plate, unmarked Nippon, made in Japan. This plate has scalloped edges, trimmed in dark cobalt blue and gold gilt. Towards the center of the plate, there is yet more heavy gold and shades of pink florals, all heavy with Moriage. This plate is in wonderful condition, absolutely no chips or cracks, no stains, Gold is intact. Has spent decades in a cabinet living the good life.
9 3/4 inches in diameter, will be noticed as is highly reflective and very striking. The pictures do not do this piece justice, you will not be disappointed. In a few pictures you will need to pardon the light reflections, photos taken in natural light.
