My grandmother received this china set in 1958 for a combined graduation/wedding gift from her parents. It has always been one of my favorites! Over the years a couple of the cups and saucers have been damaged and any replacements she has located have been terribly expensive. I was thrilled when I found these pieces for such an affordable price. In my haste, however, I did not look at the size of the items (which were very clearly listed) and after opening the package had to laugh out loud at my failure to pay attention. This is the third time I’ve attempted to write this and either my iPad or etsy keeps eating the review. So I’m going to keep this short. I saw a little watering can/ measuring cup just like this in a mag used as part of the decor. I had t have a small translucent cobalt blue pitcher/whatever. After looking for a few days I found it! Plus it has chevrons on it - I almost passed out from happiness- and dealing with the vendor was a joy. It came wrapped so carefully, it was like it was the Pieta or som other great work of art. My grandmother received this china set in 1958 for a combined graduation/wedding gift from her parents. It has always been one of my favorites! Over the years a couple of the cups and saucers have been damaged and any replacements she has located have been terribly expensive. I was thrilled when I found these pieces for such an affordable price. In my haste, however, I did not look at the size of the items (which were very clearly listed) and after opening the package had to laugh out loud at my failure to pay attention.
