Return Policy / Cancellations

Returns are accepted for any reason within 14 days of receipt of your purchase.  If you simply change your mind, please let me know that you are returning, and when I receive your purchase back, I will promptly refund your purchase price of the item, minus any shipping costs that were paid by you or incurred by our Shop if your purchase was shipped to you for no charge.  

Yes, if you need to cancel your purchase, please do so within 6 hours of initial purchase as we often ship on the same day.  Just let me know via the Contact icon at the bottom of all pages. 

What if my item arrives broken?

I am a very good packager, packaging and shipping very fragile items for over 10 years.  Please see my reviews, most mention the stellar packaging.  But, if there ever is a time that your purchase arrives damaged, let me know right away.  I purchase shipping insurance on all items, and as the owner of The Vintage Porch, it is my responsibility to make sure your package arrives intact.  Simply send me a picture of the broken item and the packaging, and you will be issued a full refund, including any shipping amounts that you paid.  No need to return the damaged item to our store.

I strive for the description of the item and photographs to be accurate and detailed.  But, let me know if you feel that the description of your purchase failed to point out a flaw or blemish that was somehow missed.  I make every effort to point out any blemishes or irregularities, but being human, mistakes may happen.  Contact me, I want to make it right and will issue a refund of the purchase price of the item and any shipping costs paid by you when the item is returned to me in original packaging. 

SHIPPING

Your purchase will be carefully packaged and shipped 1-3 days from date of purchase (excluding weekends or Post Office Holidays). Many of my items feature Free Shipping. Others will have a reasonable shipping charge, based on the size, weight and destination of the package. 

Do you offer combined shipping for multiple items?

If you are purchasing multiple items, I do offer combined shipping for items can be combined for shipping without elevating the risk of breakage. Any overage in shipping charges, if combined, will be promptly refunded to you.  The Vintage Porch does not make a profit on shipping.

Payment

You do not have to open a Paypal account to pay via the Paypal portal.  If you are not signed up for Paypal, no problem.  Simply enter your credit card information and Paypal will process as any other payment portal.  Very secure, and your credit card info is not shared with our shop.
