This is a single bookend that was originally part of a pair by M Fiot, a renowned French Sculptor that studied under Prosper Lecourtier. M Fiot was born in 1886 and died in 1953. His full name was Maximilien Louis Fiot. Created in patinated bronze.
This particular bookend has signs of age, made of bronze, there is a possible repair on the ear tip. There are also a fair amount of scuffs and scratches on the patination. The fabric covering on the bottom is in poor condition. Please take a close look at pictures.
