Beautiful, with no chips or cracks, this Jean Pouyat Biscuit Jar or Ginger Jar is made of porcelain from Limoges France. A lovely blue with creamy white florals, all highlighted in gold gilt, unique and will be noticed. Marked JPL France on bottom. There are no chips and no cracks. Some yellowing/small markings around neck and body area, I did not want to scrub, but a warm bath did remove some. Will leave the further cleaning decision to the new owner. There is some wear on the gold, perfect for a French Country decor. Measures 6 1/2 inches high with a 6 1/2 inch diameter.
