Wonderful pair of matching lidded soup bowls or small casserole baking dishes. Marked on the bottom Oven Ware, Made in USA. Made of a heavy pottery with a nice blue glaze, perfect for a farmhouse table setting.
These are old, perhaps older than my estimate of 1950s but did not want to overstate. There are no chips or cracks, only some glaze pops and small areas of missing glaze from the firing process. They are lovely, you will not be disappointed.
Each measures 5 inches in diameter and are 2 1/2 inches deep. The handle on the side extends an additional 2 inches from the side of the bowl.
