Huge rotating silver plate on copper revolving divided serving platter. The glass inserts are removable for washing. The piece has a 20 inch diameter and sits with an attached pedestal that is approx. 3 inches high. Very elegant, perfect for Bridal Celebrations. The borders are highly ornate, nice and heavy, you will not be disappointed. There is some wear on the bottom of one serving slot as shown in picture - however, when glass insert is in plate, very hard to detect.
The platter rotates on a pedestal, with some slight rattling when turning. I am not very handy, but I suspect that a bit of WD40 would work wonders. I have given it a once over with silver cream, leaving some patina. Will leave the decision to polish further up to the new owner. As is now, this lovely piece has an Old World look, it is very handsome. The only marking I could find is on the bottom and says Silver Plate on Copper, and a symbol, which I could not identify.
