Very handsome and elegant set by Royal Lancer. The set is complete with the original box and wrappings. The pieces include that serving bowl, salt shaker, pepper shaker and 2 olive wood and sterling silver serving utensils.
The handles on the 2 serving utensils are marked sterling. The wooden ends are made of olive wood. The bowl is rimmed in a coat of sterling, as is the salt and pepper shakers.
All pieces are in wonderful condition and read to gift or to use. Absolutely no chips or cracks to the bowl or shakers, there are no dents on the sterling handles of the serving utensils. The prongs on the olive wood fork are strong and sturdy, with some signs of use on the tips, however, does not deter from the appeal of functionality of this elegant set. Very light wear on the sterling rims of one shaker. I have left all unpolished, as some like patina. Will leave that decision up to the new owner. Will polish up very nicely if desired.
Bowl measures 10 inches in diameter and is approx 4 1/2 inches deep. Each utensil measures 10 inches long. The salt and pepper shakers measure 5 inches high.
