Found this fab shoe salesman's stool in Rockville Indiana. Wrought iron, twisted as you would expect to find on an old ice cream chair, created as a footstool for the shoe salesman to sit on and the customer would put their foot up on the slanted side. The piece is covered in an old and worn gold velveteen like material, however, could easily be replaced or recovered to go with your decor. This would be a wonderful piece for the interior of a large walk-in closet, purposeful too!
Very sturdy, with just a small bit of rock to it, one leg is about 1/4 inch shorter, does not detract from the charm or functionality of this stool. Paint is worn or chipped, has spent many years in an old shoe dept, most likely in a large high end department store.
Measures 24 inches by 13 inches by 10 1/2 inches.
