Unique quadruple silver plate jewerly box for collar stays and cufflinks. Marked on bottom Pat Pend 1894, Fairpoint, New Bedford, Massachusettes, Quadruple Plate. Fairpoint began in the United States in 1880 and is know for quality creations. This box is also engraved on the top 'Collar' and then also has engraved images of cufflinks. The interior is lined with a dark green felt like material. Note the collar like detailing work on the front, along with a button.
Unable to find another one like it during my research of this piece. Perfect gift for the gentleman in your life.
Wonderful condition, no dents, with just some surface scratches on the bottom. This rare box has been well taken care of for over a century. You will not be disappointed.
